You’ll be joining a strong team with a great culture focusing on projects that increase specification into projects at early design stage, in a very important area of the UK.

Purpose of the Role

The primary responsibility of this role is to increase the specification and use of Sika waterproofing products in below-ground structures. This includes the full range of waterproofing solutions within our portfolio. A key aspect of the role is early engagement with project design teams, ensuring that the most appropriate and effective waterproofing solutions are proposed and adopted at the design stage of the project.

Your expertise - Our strength

The Skills:

To succeed in this role, you should bring strong specification experience within the construction industry, ideally with a background in waterproofing or structural protection. A solid understanding of building design, project lifecycles, and below-ground construction challenges is key. A CSSW qualification (Certified Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing) is highly desirable, along with the ability to build relationships with architects, engineers, and consultants at an early design stage.

What we need from you?

  • Full clean drivers license
  • Proven experience in specification sales within the construction industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of below-ground waterproofing systems
  • CSSW qualification or willingness to achieve it (highly desirable)
  • Ability to engage and influence architects, engineers, and design consultants early in the project lifecycle
  • Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Salesforce
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
